The Start Network Assembly is the annual gathering of our members and stakeholders. This year the event will be held from 18 to 20 October 2022.

18 October

The first day will be online and open to all stakeholders.

19-20 October

Days two and three will be in person in London and will be limited to Start Network’s membership representatives and hubs.

About the event

Start Network is catalysing a new era of locally led humanitarian action. We’re doing this by shifting to a decentralised locally led network of hubs and supporting those hubs and members to build proactive financing systems and community-led innovation programmes. Reshaping power and rebuilding systems in this way will help us to inch closer towards a humanitarian system that is locally led, relevant, flexible, and contextually-specific in its approaches and behaviours.

Join us at this year's Assembly and be part of the change!

The Assembly is the most important annual meeting of all Start Network members and stakeholders. It features several different components: from interactive sessions and workshops that help us work through challenges facing the network and the sector; to inspiring speakers and panellists; to a free-flowing “marketplace” that members can visit to find out more about our work in the past year. It also includes our Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members can formally hold us to account and make key decisions.
