Start Fund's Crisis Response Summaries (CRS)

Ballakissa Idriss is the Family Planning (Fp) agent for CARE working in the Disctrict Hospital of Doba, in Southernn Chad. She went to school to become a mid-wive as she has seen women suffering while giving birth at home.

The Crisis Response Summary (CRS) is a one-page summary which presents a “snap-shot” of the Start Fund response. It collates the main activities, findings and lessons learned in a standard format which is shared with the Start Network Members through the member portal, as well as with donors. These are produced for all Start Fund alerts that are allocated funding. Additionally, Start Fund Bangladesh and the Migration Emergency Response Fund (MERF) alerts also produce CRSs. The information communicated in the summaries is consolidated by the team at Start and approved by the relevant Start Network member agencies that were awarded funding.
