CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF START NETWORK IN OUR FIRST VIRTUAL ASSEMBLY MEETING

Welcome to the Start Network's 2020 Assembly Week!

The Assembly affords the network's members and stakeholders the unique opportunity to come together, take stock of our learning and progress, and propel us forward in our collective vision.

As we look at our progress, three years after Start Evolves, with the impacts of COVID-19 on the world's most vulnerable, with even more urgency to shift power, to tackle racism and colonial structures, this year's Assembly will be crucial.

It has four distinct components:

  • LEARN - a virtual marketplace to exchange information and explore how we have made progress
  • BUILD - "hackathon”-style sessions where small groups work together to tackle important strategic issues
  • EXPLORE - a space to air difficult, complex, or uncomfortable issues that are important discussions to have
  • DECIDE - the Annual General Meeting of the members to make key governance decisions.

Week schedule

This year, we are planning a series of virtual sessions and events over a 4-day period. In addition to the usual sessions and AGM, there will also be events relating to Start Network's 10-year anniversary, announcing and celebrating change-makers from across the network.
