Migration Emergency Response Fund: One year on
Reflections and next steps
Following the conclusion of the first iteration of the Migration Emergency Response Fund (MERF), the Start Network will be holding an event for members and stakeholders to reflect on the successes and challenges of the programme over the last year, as well as look towards the future of the MERF.
The day will be divided in two sessions:
Session 1: Presentations and reflections (09:00 - 12:30)
The first half of the day will include a presentation from Heloise Ruaudel, who will present the results of the research she is currently completing exploring the complexity of the Mixed Migration crisis and how the MERF interacts within this. We also hope to have presentations from members as well as reflections on the process from the MERF team. A full agenda will be sent out closer to the time.
Session 2: Workshop and training (13:30 - 17:00)
The second half of the day will include workshops and training around the new proposal and reporting templates for MERF 2. The second part of the day should only be attended by Start Network members and partners who will be involved in this programme.
