Start Evolves Town Hall discussion:

How will our design of the future Network lead to meaningful change?

WHEN:

26 September 2017

WHERE:

Webinar

TIME:

12:00

In this final webinar, Start Network Director Sean Lowrie will hold an open town hall to answer any remaining questions about Start Evolves, how this is relevant for you and your organisations and an opportunity to discuss the design of the future Start Network model.

6 months ago at our May Assembly, the Start Network put forward a vision for the future of humanitarian action which we think is needed to tackle the challenges of the 21st century. We believe that this future is not only possible but necessary – and, with the help of our members and stakeholders, have outlined a way for the Network to evolve in order to enable this to happen.

This process of consultation and co-design is known as Start Evolves.  We have held webinars, run in-country consultations, circulated surveys and outlined aspects of the future Network in blogs and FAQs. Pulling together the feedback from stakeholders and the outputs of dedicated ‘design task teams’, a final Start Evolves paper is being developed for our next Assembly in November.

In this final webinar, Start Network Director Sean Lowrie will hold an open town hall to answer any remaining questions about Start Evolves, how this is relevant for you and your organisations and an opportunity to discuss the design of the future Start Network model. If you are an Assembly Representative, this is an opportunity to hear about the outputs from this process before the 11th October check-in meeting.
