Catholic Relief Services: Reaching out to displaced families from Marawi
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) was awarded Start Funds to respond to the crisis in Marawi, Philippines, where fighting broke out in May. Here Aiko Jane Osa tells us about CRS's response.
Start Fund: rapid response to Marawi crisis
Within a few days of violence erupting in Marawi, Philippines, the Start Fund had been activated, and a consortium of Start members including ACTED, ACF, Oxfam and CRS responded to address the increasing needs of local families.
