Doctors of the World focused their response on medical needs of the community, with the initial activities focusing on emergency medical needs via mobile clinics, transferring patients to regional hospitals if their cases were too severe for a clinic response, psychosocial care, sensitisation sessions on proper hygiene and preventing communicable disease transmission.
