Localisation in theory and practice
There are many interpretations of how to deliver localisation. For the Start Network the end goal is humanitarian response that is community-led. We have identified pathways that will deliver a shift towards a situation where decisions and responses are made closer to the community.
Start Network Change Model
The Start Network’s change model lays out a plausible pathway for system change and to test the assumptions behind this. The change model sets out a long-term vision with a focus on supporting communities in need.
Impact Report 2016
This report is the first of its kind for the Start Network and the first report in the humanitarian sector that showcases what can be accomplished through system-change initiatives. It tells the story of what system change looks like in practice and how it can be delivered.
