The Start Network has launched a new video outlining a new way to think about localisation, the video aims to show a practical structure that could improve the position of local organisations within international aid.
This month a meeting for members of the Start Network and Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) was held to support organisations in their efforts to meet the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) self-assessment process.
On July 8th 2014 the first four projects from the Start Build portfolio were able to begin with funding from the UK Department for International Development’s Disasters and Emergencies Preparedness Programme (DEPP).
