Start Fund Training

We offer members a range of training sessions on various aspects of Start Fund. These include:

  • Inductions on the Start Fund mechanism and its niche
  • Alert notes
  • Preparation for anticipation and response actions
  • Successful proposals design and project reporting

Online Start Fund training session

The Start Fund team has scheduled a series of trainings on the different stages of the Start Fund Alert Cycle in the course of 2024. This will:

- support and encourage members’ access to Start Fund
- increase the effectiveness and quality of Start Fund projects
- collect feedback from members on how we can adapt and improve the Start Fund process.

These live training sessions are organised in several languages throughout the year.

START FUND E-COURSES

Crisis Anticipation and Action: this e-course builds your understanding of the Start Fund's proactive approach to providing humanitarian aid. This includes what crisis anticipation is and the elements to consider when raising a crisis anticipation alert.

This self-guided online course is available free of charge through the Kaya platform.
