RFP: Guatemala National Disaster Risk Finance – Drought Impact and Vulnerability Analysis

Start Network and its hub in Guatemala are looking for a consultant or firm to conduct an impact and vulnerability analysis for drought in Guatemala as part of the Drought DRF System build. This analysis would support the members in choosing which regions they would like to prioritise before developing their contingency plans for the selected areas. 

The impact and vulnerability study aims to identify the following:

  • Identify the geographic and socio-economic extent of drought in Guatemala
  • Identify vulnerability factors and cross-sectoral issues related to drought hazards
  • Identify existing community-based coping mechanisms that can be leveraged by the humanitarian sector
