The Start Network Board of Trustees, the Membership Committee and the Nominations Committee are looking for new members with fresh perspectives to contribute their knowledge, skillsets and ideas to vital areas of Start Network governance and decision making.

We invite individual leaders and doers from across our membership to apply - see below for the required profiles and, if you believe you fit the description, we want to hear from you!

  • Board of Trustees: The Start Network Board is looking to recruit two Trustees from the Network’s member agencies with the ability to dedicate time to manage a network at scale; the energy to play a key role in decision making around the strategic direction of the Network and its transition as an independent entity; and the diversity and skills to ensure governance excellence.

  • Membership Committee: The Membership Committee oversees Network membership. They are looking for one member volunteer from a Southern NNGO or INGO - experience in member support and engagement, compliance or legal awareness desirable but not necessary.

  • Nominations Committee (TOR): The Nominations Committee facilitates Board and sub-committee appointments, and ensures a good balance of skills is held by the trustees. They are looking for two member volunteers with governance experience.
