Evaluation of migration flows and protection needs and risks in Mali
Funding from the Migration Emergency Response Fund (MERF) was awarded in the form of a Collaborative Information Collection and Analysis (CICA) grant in order to assess the needs on the emerging route between Sévaré and Timbuktu.
The evaluation was conducted by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Mali and confirmed the very high numbers of migrants using this route as well as the need for protection assistance. The executive summary of the report is available to read in French and English.
