VISION

Start Network’s vision is for a proactive, innovative and locally-owned humanitarian system in which people receive better quality humanitarian aid, maintain their dignity and are protected from suffering and harm.

MISSION

Our mission is to achieve this vision by making systemic-level shifts in the way humanitarian aid is approached and delivered by:

- Shifting humanitarian aid funding approaches from reactive to proactive;

- Creating a more balanced aid delivery system that shifts power and decision-making to organisations and individuals closest to the frontline; and

- Facilitating and scaling innovative and home-grown solutions to humanitarian problems.
