Start Network invites five founding hubs to join a proof of concept phase

Start Network is inviting five founding hubs to join a proof of concept phase. Through hubs, Start Network is aiming to scale as a network and shift even more power and resources to those closest to humanitarian crises.

A hub is a network of diverse organisations within and outside the sector, operating humanitarian initiatives in the same country or region.

Hubs will subscribe to Start Network vision and mission to address the systemic challenges in the humanitarian system, and promote localisation, new financing and collective innovation. They will also operate autonomously, bringing in their own members, and design their own humanitarian financing solutions. Hubs will also be connected to each other through a global “platform” which gives them access to a global financing facility, a common due diligence system, collective governance systems and thought leadership.

We’re looking for groups of organisations that want to see a new humanitarian system that can save more lives, and drive and catalyse the change that is urgently needed in the global aid system.
