Relief International and Leadership for Humanitarians have announced details of the next Leadership for Humanitarians training programme starting in March 2016.
The senior-level Leadership for Humanitarians programme, funded by the Start Network Talent Development Project, part of the Disasters and Emergencies Preparedness Programme, will take place in Bangladesh, with a face-to-face workshop taking place on 13 – 17 March 2016 in Dhaka.
This is a special opportunity specifically for national senior staff in Bangladesh to experience world class training – completely free - and to increase their personal effectiveness, management skills and leadership abilities.
The overall goal of the Talent Development project is to increase national staff capacity, and this component focuses on national senior management and leadership level staff , i.e. senior manager, directors, CEO, who work for INGOs locally in Bangladesh and who work in local NGOs and community-based organisations.
This training is free of charge (organisations are expected to pay any travel costs associated with the 5-day workshop) and funding is available to staff from local organisations to help support travel costs to attend. There are only 20 places in each training and so candidates will be selected. The project aims for gender balance in the training, so strongly encourage applications from women.
